Red Wine Vinaigrette

Low-fat/cal Salad dress


  • 1 tb Lemon Juice
  • 1 tb Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tb Red Wine
  • 2 tb Olive Oil
  • 1 ts Water
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1/8 ts Freshly Ground Pepper
  • 1/2 ts Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 ts Dijon Mustard
  • 1 ts Dried Basil
  • 1 sm Clove Garlic; Finely Minced
  • 1 sl Onion; Minced, Or 1/4 Tsp Onion Powder


Red wine softens the sharpness of vinegar and lends a richness to this dressing.
Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl, or combine in a glass jar, cover and shake well.
Yields: 1/2 C (8 Tbsp)
