Oatmeal-Plus Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 lb Margarine
  • 1 c Brown Sugar -- packed
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 1 c Whole-Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 ts Baking Soda
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 c Nuts -- chopped
  • 1/2 c Coconut -- grated
  • 3/4 c Raisins

Directions:

1. Blend together the margarine and brown sugar. 2. Add the remaining ingredients one at a time while blending. Add each one as the preceding one disappears. 3. Drop generous teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake about 12 minutes at 350°F.
 
Makes 3 dozen.
