Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars #2

  • 1 Sara Lee pound cake; (10.75 oz.), thawed
  • 1 c Quick-cooking oatmeal
  • 3/4 c Packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c Butter or margarine; softened
  • 3/4 c Chocolate chips


Heat oven to 400øF. Cut pound cake into 12 slices. Spray 13x9-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place cake slices in bottom of pan. In medium bowl, combine oatmeal and brown sugar; mix well. Add butter and stir until mixture is crumbly. Evenly distribute mixture over cake and top with chocolate chips.
Bake at 400øF. for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown.
