Giblet Stuffing

Stuffing

Ingredients:

  • Giblets and neck of turkey; boiled and chopped
  • 2/3 c Diced apples
  • 1 c Chopped celery
  • 10 c Soft bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c Chopped parsley
  • 1/3 Chopped onion
  • 1/4 ts Pepper
  • 1/3 c Butter or margarine; melted
  • 3/4 ts Salt
  • 1 Egg; beaten
  • Sage; to taste
  • 1/4 ts Poultry seasoning; optional
  • 1/2 c Turkey broth

Directions:

Combine all ingredients. Stuff turkey or shape mixture into balls and place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
 
YIELD: Stuffing for 10-pound turkey
