German Cole Slaw

Ingredients:

  • 1 Head of cabbage; shredded (I chop it in my food processor)
  • 2 md Onions; cut in rings
  • 1 Green pepper; chopped
  • 1 Jar pimento; chopped & drained
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1 c White vinegar
  • 3/4 c Canola oil
  • 1 tb Salt
  • 1 ts Celery seeds (up to 2)

Directions:

Combine cabbage, grn. pepper, onion & pimento in large bowl. Mix sugar & celery seed into this mixture. Combine vinegar, oil & salt in pan & bring to a boil. Pour immediately over cabbage.
