Gehakteh Leber (Chopped Liver)

Ingredients:
- 2 lg Onions, chopped (or more, to taste)
- 3 tb Oil
- 1 lb Chicken livers
- 4 Hard cooked eggs
- 1 ts Salt
- 1/4 ts Black pepper
- 1 tb Mayonnaise (up to 2)
Directions:
In a large skillet, saute the onions in the oil until golden. Broil the livers. Using the finest blade of a grinder, or steel blade of the food processor, grind the liver with the onions and eggs. Add the salt and pepper. Add 1 or 2 tbs mayonnaise and mix well. Taste and adjust the seasoning.
