Garden Vegetable Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground round
  • 1/2 c Chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 c Chopped red onion
  • 1/4 c Tiny capers; drained
  • 1/4 c Dijon mustard
  • 2 Ripe plum tomatoes; seeded and diced
  • 1/4 c Chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 tb Dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg white
  • 1 ts Caraway seeds
  • 1 ts Pepper

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and gently mix them together with your hands or with a fork. Divide the mixture into four equal portions, and shape them into 1/2-inch-thick patties. Place the patties on your prepared grill rack and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired degree of doneness.
