Favorite Oatmeal Recipe

  • 2 tb Regular rolled oats; (heaping)
  • 1 tb Oat bran; (heaping)
  • 1 tb Wheat bran; (heaping)
  • 1 tb Wheat germ; (heaping)
  • 1 tb Raisins; (optional) (heaping)
  • 1/2 c Cold water; (actually I don't measure but merely add enough water so mix is barely swimming in water)


My favorite oatmeal recipe for one serving.
Place in microwaveable bowl and microwave on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes depending on the machine.
Cereal comes out thick but not lumpy, add soy milk to get consistency you desire, top with sliced fresh fruit - my favorite is banana.
