  • 3 c Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Sticks margarine; (3/4 cup)
  • 1 cn Evaporated milk; (2/3 cup) (5 1/2- ounce)
  • 1 pk Semi-sweet chocolate pieces; (12-ounce)
  • 1 Jar marshmallow creme; (7-ounce)
  • 1 c Chopped nuts
  • 1 ts Vanilla


In a heavy saucepan combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate pieces until melted. Add marshmallow creme, nuts, and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch pan. Cool at room temperature and cut into squares.
