Fast 'n Fabulous Dark Chocolate Fudge

  • 1/2 c Light or dark corn syrup
  • 1/3 c Evaporated milk
  • 3 c (18 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c Confectioner's sugar; sifted
  • 1 c Coarsely chopped nuts (optional)
  • 2 ts Vanilla


Spray 8-inch square pan with cooking spray. IN 2-quart saucepan combine corn syrup and evaporated milk; add chocolate. Stirring constantly, cook over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
Add remaining ingredients. Beat with spoon until thick and glossy. Spread in pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm.
Marvelous Marble Fudge: Omit nuts. Prepare as directed above; spread in pan. Drop 1/3 c. peanut butter over fudge in small dollops. With small spatula, swirl to marbleize. Chill.
