Farfalle with Mixed Mushrooms and Nuts

  • 200 g Farfalle
  • 400 g Assorted mushrooms; *
  • 1/2 ts Italian seasoning
  • 1 tb Olive oil
  • Salt; to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper; to taste
  • 2 tb Coarsely chopped hazelnuts


* Use tasty mushrooms like shiitake, oesterzwammen, etc.
Cook the farfelle according to instructions.
Meanwhile, clean and slice the mushrooms. Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the mushrooms and Italian herbs. Saute till mushrooms are soft. Add salt and pepper to taste.
In a dry skillet, toast the hazelnuts till golden brown.
Drain the farfelle. Stir in the mushrooms and sprinkle with the toasted nuts.
NOTES : Tasty and easy.
