Easy Black Bean Chili

  • 1 cn Black beans; (Progresso is good), partially drained
  • Canned chopped tomatoes; (add to taste)
  • 1 1/2 tb Chili powder
  • 1/4 ts Cayenne; (more if you like it spicy)
  • 3 tb Chopped onion; (use dried minced onion to save time)
  • 1/4 ts Garlic powder


This is a chili that I make for myself when I'm starved and have no time. It's also low-fat and really easy!
Mix all ingredients, cook for about 15 minutes or so, until the flavors blend. Top with shredded cheddar.
