Easy Beef Stroganoff

  • 2 lb Boneless, chuck steak, cut into 1/4 inch strips
  • 3 tb Wesson Vegetable Oil
  • 1 c Chopped onion
  • 1 c Sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cn (6 oz) Hunt's Tomato Paste No Salt Added
  • 1 1/4 c Water
  • 2 tb Worcestershire
  • 1 ts Garlic powder
  • 1/2 c Sour cream


In large skillet, brown meat in hot oil. Remove meat. Saute onion and mushrooms in skillet drippings until golden brown. Stir in remaining ingredients except sour cream. Return meat to skillet. Cover, simmer, 30 min or until meat is tender. stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in sour cream, blend well. Serve over rice or noodles. Serves 6
