  • 1 lg Head green cabbage; shredded
  • 1/4 c Minced green onions
  • 2 c Mayonnaise
  • 2 tb Sugar; plus
  • 2 ts Sugar; (or less, to taste)
  • 2 tb Cider vinegar; plus
  • 2 ts Cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tb Celery seed; (optional, leave it out if you don't like it)
  • 1/2 ts Salt


This is a recipe attributed to Willis Peaden, Havelock, NC:
Mix it all together; it tastes good, I've had it and can say. Makes 11c.
