Cabbage Wedges

  • 1 Cabbage;medium size cut in wedges
  • 1/2 c Peppers, green or red
  • 4 tb Butter
  • 1/4 c Onion precooked in microwave
  • 1/4 c Flour
  • 2 c Milk
  • 1/2 c Cheese, white grated
  • 1/4 c Chili sauce Salt and pepper to taste


Make white sauce out of butter;melt butter in pan, add flour,cheese, and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste as well as chili sauce. Mix in with precooked onion and pepper. Precook the cabbage in a steamer and drain. Pour white sauce over cooked cabbage and put in greased baking dish in preheated moderate oven for 20 minutes. Source: Mom
