Baked Apples #13

  • 4 Bramley apples
  • 4 fl Whisky
  • 150 g Molasses sugar
  • 1 ts Mixed spice
  • 50 g Dried fruits


Take the apples, core and make a skin deep slit around their circumference and reserve. Mix together all the other ingredients and pack into the cavities.
Add a knob of butter to each and a piece of cinnamon quill and bake at 180C until you can smell them. Serve with custard.
