Bacon Stuffed Avocados

Ingredients:

  • 4 Avocados, ripe & unpeeled
  • Lemon juice
  • 8 Slices crisp bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 c Butter
  • 1/4 c Brown sugar
  • 1/4 c Ketchup
  • 1/4 c Wine vinegar
  • 1 tb Soy sauce

Directions:

Cut avocados in half. Remove pits and brush with lemon juice. Fill with bacon. Combine remaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Drizzle some sauce over avocados and pass remaining sauce separately. Yield: 8 servings Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin@msn.com Source: Fare for Friends
