Baby Ruth Cookies

  • 3 1/2 c Flour
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 ts Soda
  • 1 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1 c Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 6 1.2-oz Baby Ruth candy bars; cut in small pieces


Blend flour with salt and soda in small bowl. Gradually add sugar to butter in mixing bowl; cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Blend in dry ingredients gradually; mix thoroughly. Stir in candy pieces. Chill dough for easy handling. Drop by tablespoons onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
