All Roads Lead To Tofu Burgers

  • 1 lb Firm tofu; drained and mashed
  • 1 Envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 ts Garlic powder
  • 2 Eggs; beaten
  • 2 ts Tamari or soy sauce
  • 3 tb Toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 c Seasoned stuffing mix; (2 to 3)
  • Butter or oil for frying


Combine first 6 ingredients in large bowl. Mix thoroughly with hands. Mix in stuffing until texture is firm enough to form patties. Let sit for five minutes. Using about 2/3 cup of the mixture per ball, flatten into patties.
Heat small amount of oil or butter in pan or skillet. Fry patties until crispy on both sides.
