After-Dinner Chocolate

Beverages Chocolate Holiday Liquors
Ingredients:
- 2 c Water
- 4 oz Bittersweet chocolate or semisweet; chopped
- 3 tb Grand Marnier
- 1/4 c Whipping cream
- Orange peel; finely grated
Directions:
1. Combine water and chocolate in a small saucepan; cook and stir just till boiling. Remove from heat; stir in liqueur or vanilla. Beat cream in a small chilled mixing bowl with an electric mixer on low to medium speed till soft peaks form. Top each serving with whipped cream; sprinkle with orange peel, if desired.2. The orange peel is optional. You can use Amaretto or vanilla extract in place of the Grand Marnier if desired
NOTES : Bittersweet chocolate usually has a more pronounced chocolate flavor than semi-sweet. Recipe by: Better Homes Christmas Cookies 1997
